We are Tomer and Baran, co-founders of Point of New. Our journey began as a queer couple with the same job as coaches and German teachers. Our passion is to support people to communicate better, both in their native language as well as in German. We enjoy guiding people through and beyond barriers.
Baran Yerligül
From the get-go, I've had a passion for meeting new people, exploring new places, always on the lookout for the connections that bind us. That's why it felt natural for me not just to learn and study languages myself but also to teach them. To me, languages, along with food and music, open the doors to different cultures and backgrounds.
I honed my language skills in various fields like high-end retail, hospitality, and teaching. My experiences in project management expanded my horizons and bolstered my teaching prowess. It became clear that my personal journey allows me to offer others the support I often missed out on as a Third Culture Kid due to a lack of understanding and inclusion.
Through coaching, I pinpointed my passion: guiding individuals as a coach and German teacher, aiding them in uncovering their potential for a happier life within themselves and their surroundings. My studies in French Philology and Gender Studies, coupled with my certification as a systemic coach and mediator, have played a significant role in further refining my skills.

I consider myself a seasoned adventurer, as my life's journey has been a vibrant tapestry woven with unexpected twists and turns. This journey has been fueled by my unrelenting passion to engage with new cultures, explore unfamiliar landscapes, and embrace continuous learning.
My professional endeavors have traversed diverse industries, including tourism, finance, environmental conservation, and real estate. Over the years, I've garnered extensive expertise in project management, marketing, and facilitating change. Relocating from Tel Aviv to Berlin in 2014 broadened my horizons, allowing me to become as fluent in German as I am in English and Hebrew.
Coaching is a privilege I cherish deeply. I derive immense satisfaction from assisting individuals in uncovering their inherent strengths, guiding them towards setting concrete objectives, and pursuing what holds genuine significance in their lives.
With a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Economics, I hold certifications as a trainer from the IHK - German Chamber of Commerce and as a career coach from QRC - Qualitätsring Coaching und Beratung.
